POLICIES

Certificate Issuance Policy

How certificates are earned, issued, verified, reissued and revoked.

Draft — pending legal review

This policy is a draft and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. Items in [square brackets] are still being finalized.

Types of certificates

A Certificate of Completion is issued when you meet all of a course's completion requirements. A Certificate of Achievement is issued when you complete the required activities and pass the designated examination with the required score.

Automatic, verified issuance

Certificates are issued automatically by the system after it confirms, from your actual learning records, that every requirement is met. Certificates cannot be requested or issued manually for students who have not met the requirements.

Your name on the certificate

The certificate uses the full name in your profile at the time of issue. Please check it before you complete a course. Name corrections are handled by reissuing the certificate.

Verification

Each certificate has a unique number and a QR code linking to a public verification page that shows its current status.

Reissue and revocation

We may reissue a certificate to correct an error; the original number then shows as replaced. We may revoke a certificate obtained through dishonesty, account sharing, payment fraud or a system error. Revoked certificates show as invalid on the verification page.
